Try It Tuesday: Highest Potential!

Each month I make a new order with Young Living to replace the oils I've used throughout the month. One of the best parts is getting to try out an oil I haven't purchased before. I love being a guinea pig when it comes to my oils!

This month I bought two new oils, Myrrh, to help strengthen our teeth and gums, which you'll see in a future blog post, and Highest Potential. Highest Potential I got in the spirit of assessing whether an oil blend might help inspire me to reach my "highest potential."

Simplifying All Of Life

A long-running theme in our lives is simplification. It is one of those things we have to keep doing and re-doing over time as gifts come in, new babies are added to the family, moves happen... you know: Life occurs!

So let's talk about budgeting, our...

29 Days of Gifts Challenge

In the past, the boys have done prank wars to varying levels of success, until someone gets too overzealous and ticks someone else off in a real way. So with our birthday and holiday season upon us, and the house ready to hit high levels of fun and tension, I am challenging the boys to two things for December:

A journey in joyful living

I'm a mom of eight, with #9 on the way, living life with intention. Control of my time is more important to me than getting a dollar through punching a time clock because it allows me to spend time on the important things like my church, building a strong community, and guiding my children. Every Sunday, we have as many as 30 people join us for dinner and fellowship - and I love every minute of it. I have an amazing life.

But it takes work and intention to have this life - it means eating real foods, and using supplements and home care products that support our bodies in good health. It means managing sleep, stress, and good mental health practices. It means watching what we keep around our personal space. Let me help you get a life you love too - let's look together at what your daily activities look like and what you need to embrace - or let go - to reset and renew your love-affair with the life you live; let's form a friendship that encourages you and nurtures your spirit.
